Last day

 

After the daily discipline of morning writing since my 70th birthday, I’m through. The next writing will be non-linear and no counting words using the dictate ap instead of battling the keyboard with a tremor. I like the blog books and someday I’ll read them. So long.

Dy 247

  I did walk and it was a wearifying experience. I was wobbly and kept trying to just walk like I   have my whole life. I don’t know why I falter from the   simple chore of   putting one foot in front   of the other. I will walk again today when the rain stops. The good news is that I had a new idea for the writing prompt. It came from memories of seeing older people congregating in morning coffee huddles. I’ll go from there and travel to small towns and sit with elders to hear stories.

Day 350

  A couple of good busy days have gone by. The computer is working thanks to the guys down the hill. Now it’s up to me to do the work. JuJu had a vet visit yesterday and she is fine gain. No squeaking when we pick her up. He said she will probably have other spells of hurting herself and we have pain meds in that case. Too cold and windy to enjoy the outside. I would like to bundle up and be brave. First big food. I’m hungry.l
