Day 164

 

Today I will tell Karen that I won’t be back aa the museum. I will miss  duty, peole,  and the break from isolation.  It’s too risky even with masks and distancing. The covid is booming in our red county and I won’t be part of the problem. Planted squash yesterday even though it’s August. Might get a late crop . I pulled the failed broccoli and the other plants that have not produced food. No sense watering a failed plant. Might feed roses and weed.

Dy 247

  I did walk and it was a wearifying experience. I was wobbly and kept trying to just walk like I   have my whole life. I don’t know why I falter from the   simple chore of   putting one foot in front   of the other. I will walk again today when the rain stops. The good news is that I had a new idea for the writing prompt. It came from memories of seeing older people congregating in morning coffee huddles. I’ll go from there and travel to small towns and sit with elders to hear stories.

day 356

  Day 356 Lots of progress yesterday. Had my glasses fixed so they don’t slip. Bought a bra without hooks. Came   home with a diet and exercise plan ato avoid diabetes. Mu sugar was 114 and 117 is the bad number. Last time the number was 102. Had a walked around the block and so hope I fixed an issue on                                                    the other computer/
