Exhausted by a long noisy night and a terrified dog. There is no soothing and it is just plain heartbreaking that thoughtless folk keep up the shooting of guns and illegal fireworks until after 2 AM. The pie social was successful and the three of us were front and center. Meg took money, Hollie was pie and utility and I poured coffee and water. .Lots of quick catch up conversations and a few hugs. Today is tea and stories and I am not prepared witth paper.
