Day 139

 

Two phone conversations with long time friends that were interesting and important. Cillay called first from Kentucky and relayed her conversation with Margie. She has been a friend since Jr. High. Later Jackie called and it was wonderful to talk with her. We are the four survivors of our “gang”.  We need to keep  in touch as octogenarians. Later JuJu goes to the vest for her itching problem. Then off to the museum for duty. I’m looking forward to going. The garden is all watered for the day.

Dy 247

  I did walk and it was a wearifying experience. I was wobbly and kept trying to just walk like I   have my whole life. I don’t know why I falter from the   simple chore of   putting one foot in front   of the other. I will walk again today when the rain stops. The good news is that I had a new idea for the writing prompt. It came from memories of seeing older people congregating in morning coffee huddles. I’ll go from there and travel to small towns and sit with elders to hear stories.

day 356

  Day 356 Lots of progress yesterday. Had my glasses fixed so they don’t slip. Bought a bra without hooks. Came   home with a diet and exercise plan ato avoid diabetes. Mu sugar was 114 and 117 is the bad number. Last time the number was 102. Had a walked around the block and so hope I fixed an issue on                                                    the other computer/
