Day 68

 

We took our usual Tuesday trip to Safeway. I only needed a few items but enjoyed getting out. Its’ another pretty morning and I’ll select another area to weed. Yesterday I dug up some little plants from the front yard and put them by the yellow roses where the lawns guys won’t cut them down. Had a long conversation with Rosalie. She will come by on Friday morning to see the roses. Iwant  her and David to know that I’m taking good care of their gifts.

Dy 247

  I did walk and it was a wearifying experience. I was wobbly and kept trying to just walk like I   have my whole life. I don’t know why I falter from the   simple chore of   putting one foot in front   of the other. I will walk again today when the rain stops. The good news is that I had a new idea for the writing prompt. It came from memories of seeing older people congregating in morning coffee huddles. I’ll go from there and travel to small towns and sit with elders to hear stories.

day 356

  Day 356 Lots of progress yesterday. Had my glasses fixed so they don’t slip. Bought a bra without hooks. Came   home with a diet and exercise plan ato avoid diabetes. Mu sugar was 114 and 117 is the bad number. Last time the number was 102. Had a walked around the block and so hope I fixed an issue on                                                    the other computer/
